Sixth Grade Career Development

6th Grade: Career Awareness 

Build an awareness of the variety of careers available and to begin to identify areas of interest.  Builds effective collaborative working relationships; is able to work with diverse teams, comprehends verbal, written and visual information and instructions; listens effectively.

6th Grade:  Career Awareness & Self-Knowledge

Career development begins with career awareness and also knowing one's self.  Helping understand and reflect on their unique, personal characteristics allows them to answer the first question in their career plan - Who am I? Help them discover their interests, values, skills, personality type, and career beliefs.
